Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the services provided by JKD Colorado, including our website and in-person training, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you are enrolling a minor, you represent that you are their legal guardian and accept these terms on their behalf.

2. Participation & Safety

  • Physical Readiness: You certify that you (or your child) are in good physical condition and have no medical conditions that would prevent safe participation in martial arts.

  • Conduct: Students must maintain respectful behavior toward instructors and fellow students. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate membership for behavior deemed unsafe or disruptive.

  • Safety Gear: Students are responsible for providing and wearing any required safety equipment during training.

3. Membership & Payments

  • Fees: Tuition fees must be paid in full at the time of enrollment or according to your agreed-upon payment plan.

  • Non-Transferable: Memberships and class packages are for individual use and cannot be transferred to another person.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Monthly Memberships: Fees are non-refundable once the month has begun. A 30-day notice is required to cancel and stop future billing.

  • Seminars & Workshops: Refunds are available up to 7 days before the event. Cancellations within 7 days are non-refundable but may be applied as credit toward future training.

  • Private Lessons: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. "No-shows" or late cancellations will be charged the full lesson fee.

  • Merchandise: Unused gear may be returned within 14 days of purchase for a full refund or exchange.

5. Waiver of Liability

You acknowledge that martial arts training involves inherent risks of physical injury. By participating, you voluntarily assume all risks and agree to release and hold harmless JKD Colorado, its owners, and instructors from any claims or liability for injuries or loss of personal property.

6. Media Release

You grant JKD Colorado permission to use photographs or video recordings of your participation for promotional or educational purposes without compensation.
